I had become obsessed with using a loop pedal to play grooves on top of grooves. When I eventually landed on the MPC, I would make the beat and structure the song. Then I removed the drums and did improvisational takes on top of the structure, once I was able to route all the drum mics into the MPC. Hope you dig!
